The Semi-Arid Food Grains Research and Development (SAFGRAD) is one of the specialized technical offices of the Commission of the African Union under its Department of Rural Economy and Agriculture. SAFGRAD’s mandate is to facilitate the advancement of agricultural research, technology transfer and dissemination for the development of livelihoods in semi-arid zones of Africa.

Position Title: Project Manager – Emergency Veterinary Support Project
Duty Station: Juba, Sudan
Duration: 1 Year renewable

Role
The Project Manager will manage and coordinate the implementation of the Emergency Veterinary Support Project in Juba, Southern Sudan. This will involve provision of both technical and strategic leadership; ensuring efficient project development and management; ensuring that systems and procedures are in line with VSFB policies, VSFB strategy, donor and legal requirements. The Project Manager reports to the Country Programme Co-ordinator Southern Sudan
