Estate Officer (2 Positions) (JG M4)

Duties & Responsibilities

The Estates Officers will report to the Real Estates Manager. They will manage the Corporation’s real estate portfolio for maximum returns.

The specific duties will include:

• Effective management of assets in the specific region for value maximization,
• Oversee the collection of rent, preparation of compliance with lease terms and  all required property notices,
• Carrying out rent reviews and letting n the  assigned region,
• Facilitating recovery of outstanding rent arrears and other dues,
• Monitoring leasing of properties to ensure that they are being leased in accordance with corporation’s policy and annual budget,
• Perform regular inspections of property, and direct alterations, maintenance and reconditioning of property as necessary,

Summary

Responsible for all commercial services required by project development teams with respect to cost planning and control, contracts management, procurement, and quantity surveying

Key Duties & Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to the following)

• Establish work procedures and coordinate working of cost planners, contract managers and quantity surveyors to support project development initiatives
• Oversee feasibility studies and estimate monitor and control construction costs, to establish project budgets
• Develop a suite of project monitoring tools, cost control techniques, cost planning and commercial/ technical legal standards
