Regional Librarian Job Vacancy at The Aga Khan University
The Aga Khan University invites applications for the following position based in Nairobi – Kenya.
Regional Librarian
Reporting to the University Librarian (based in Karachi) the incumbent will primarily be overall responsible for the smooth running of the library services in East Africa.
Other duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and implement library strategic goals
- Update and implement Library policies and procedures
- Overall responsible for all the library services at AKU EA campuses
- Responsible for budgeting and procurement of information resources required by AKU teaching, learning and research activities
- Develop and maintain a network for inter-library cooperation for AKU East Africa, including professional development programs for library staff
