The NPP holder will
(1) support the integration of nutrition into the FAO sub regional programme
(2) strengthen the linkage between food security and nutrition within the Food Security and Nutrition Working Group (FSNWG).
Under the overall guidance of the sub regional Emergency Coordinator for Eastern and Central Africa (TCEO) under the direct supervision of the Regional Emergency Officer (Gender and HIV) and the Regional Emergency Advisor for Eastern and Central Africa, under the technical supervision of FAO’s Nutrition and Consumer Protection Division (AGN), and the Sub regional Office for Eastern Africa (SFE),and in full collaboration with national government and relevant partners, the incumbent will perform the duties listed below:
