• Degree or Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Applied/Industrial Chemistry, Wood Science, Forestry, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
• Timber grading
• Industrial work experience preferably in wood treatment/processing plant for 5 (five) years in supervisory or managerial position
• Age 30 – 45 years.

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has been implementing the Mt. Kenya East Pilot Project for Natural Resources Management, under the financing of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Global Environmental Facility (GEF) and the Government of Kenya.

The GEF-financed activities are being implemented in

(a) the protected areas; Mount Kenya National Park and National Forest Reserve and

(b) 10 km distance adjacent to the forest reserve i.e in Nyeri North, Mathira East, Kirinyaga Central, Embu, Meru South, Maara, Imenti South, Meru Central, Imenti North and Buuri District.
