General Functions:
Under the direct supervision of the Procurement and Logistics Officer in Nairobi and the administrative supervision of the Head of Sub-office in Kakuma, the incumbent will implement all logistics and procurement functions in Kakuma.
Essential Functions:
- Receive all procurement and supply requisitions from Kakuma sub office, and ensure endorsement prior to procurement.
- Solicit for offers and quotations, and prepare Bids analysis accordingly.

Our client is a large independent Oil & Gas exploration company with interests across many continents is recruiting for the Administrative Support/ Finance Assistant for a six (6) months contract.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Admin Support/ Finance Assistant will provide temporary financial assistance in the remission process in order to clear the existing backlog due in support of the new processes being implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lodge applications for VAT and duty remission.
- Follow up remission applications with Government departments.
- Keep records of remission documents.
- Maintain various tracking registers i.e. supplier invoices, payments and enforce documentation compliance.
- Work closely with logistics department to carry out periodic document review to ensure agent compliance and ensure bonds are discharged within time.
