Our client, a Private Members Golf Club is looking to fill the position of a General Manager.
Reporting to the board, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of the Club’s operations.
This will include; implementing and monitoring the Club’s budget, supervising and motivating staff, managing the facility and any renovation projects, ensuring the highest standards for food, beverage, sports and recreation, entertainment and other club services, ensuring client satisfaction to attract and retain members among other duties.
The successful candidate must:
- Have Business Administration/Management qualifications
- Have a successful career in golf club management or in a broader business Operation
- Have marketing skills supported by excellent people skills both as a manager and as a service provider

Background
Water Services Trust Fund (WSTF), a corporate body under the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and established under the Water Act, 2002 has received funds from Government of Kenya, German Financial Cooperation (KfW) and European Commission (ACP-EU Water Facility) to finance the implementation of water and sanitation, and water resources projects with special emphasis on the poor and marginalized communities.
The WSTF is presently operating through three “windows” of financing to the Water Sector throughout Kenya: The Community Project Cycle (CPC), The Urban Projects Concept (UPC) and the Water Resources Development Cycle (WDC).

1. The Government of Kenya has applied for a Project Preparation Advance from the International Development Association (IDA) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Advance to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for the Technical Assistance for the Preparation of Nairobi Metropolitan Services Improvement Project (NaMSIP)
2. The tasks to be carried out will include but not be limited to:
a) Assistance and Advice to the Programme Coordinator in management of the NaMSIP, especially in preparing the project for World Bank Board Presentation and subsequently supporting its initial implementation, in accordance with the procedures and requirements of the World Bank.
