Summary

Key Tasks
- Develop and implement an internal auditing program and operational system.
- Establish adherence to internal and regulatory policies in all areas of the organizations activities.
- Review and check whether accounting policies designed are being applied as required.
- Review the internal policies and controls systems to ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance with the SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority Regulation.
- Ensure that the Society’s Financial Accounting and Reporting is in compliance with the IAS.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant should be able to carry out the following responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Compile and post accounting vouchers.
