Main Purpose of the Job

  • Ensure effective implementation of brand related activities
  • Be a source of local insight for consumer, category, shopper behaviour and trade channels and provide relevant input to the development of commercial plans with Business units

Main Responsibilities

  • Training and supervision of promoters across the brands as per your line manager’s brief
  • Ensure good quality people and work on the ground
  • Processing payments for promotions as per requirements and output
  • Implement cost effective measures for sampling and promotions
  • Control sampling support materials
  • Give regular reports on sales, execution and insights on promotions to your line Manager
  • Follow up on planning promotions calendar with your line Manager
  • Hire a RIG team, train, manage and make route plans in line with Sales and Marketing activity plans
  • Ensure effective execution to yield volume

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

2 years experience as Assistant Brand Manager / CCSDE / Trade Marketing Executive, with a working knowledge of

Assistant Accountant (F & B Revenue & Cost Controller)

Sigona Golf Club is seeking to recruit a Food & Beverage controller with ability to manage the Club’s Food & Beverage cost & revenues for the benefit of members.

Duties:

  • Ensure effective adherence of all food & beverage control procedures, store material control procedures related to all bars and kitchen operations.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports on food & beverage cost and consumption trends; reporting to the Club Accountant while informing F & B Manager & club Chef of results.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in accounting, Business Administration or CPA section 3 and above or its equivalents.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a reputable organization with at least one year experience in similar position preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
  • Proficient in all computer application packages with a good knowledge of accounting packages. Hands on experience with computerized accounting applications such a SAGE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with High degree of integrity.
  • Can work under pressure to meet strict deadline.
  • Age between 28-35years

Job Description

  • To gather, process, analyze and present relevant data on the performance of the food and beverage department with appropriate comments to the management.
  • To take corrective action whenever necessary and counsel the F&B manager and the executive chef accordingly.
  • To plan the ‘Standards & Specifications’ for the food and beverage merchandise in consultation with the F&B manager, Club chef, Purchasing officer and the  club accountant. Also to review the standards and specifications at regular intervals.
  • To prepare monthly profit and loss statements for F&B outlet.
  • To initiate and introduce improvements in F&B controls; systems and procedures which are found necessary to ensure effective food and beverage control.
  • To conduct spot checks in the receiving, stores, food production and all F&B service areas.
  • To periodically review receiving procedures and routines.
  • To keep strict control over liquor; consumption, ordering, spoilage as well as breakage.
  • To review with the general manager the performance of kitchen and the food and beverage sales outlets.
  • To co-ordinate with the food and beverage manager to review reports on his department and recommend appropriate corrective action.
  • To co-ordinate with the purchase officer for constant post audit of contract prices as per the bidding sheets.
  • To co-ordinate with the club accountant to review the food and beverage stores systems and procedures.
  • To co-ordinate with the club chef for the periodic F&B inventories.
