Ashoka, the world’s leading social entrepreneurship network, is seeking an entrepreneurial business development associate to help build Youth Venture East Africa, an initiative to mobilize and support youths in leading social change in their communities.
You will be coordinating outreach with youth organizations, researching youth issues across East Africa, and developing business development material. This position requires a person who is self-driven and very comfortable engaging with community leaders and youths across Nairobi.

Background
The challenges of implementing a high profile project such as the Community Security through engaging with Youth at Risk, the project, in the environment of Somalia should not be under estimated. The security setting, the political landscape and the (often) conflicting expectations of communities, local and central authorities and international donors presents a challenge to any organisation.
This assignment will support delivery of the project components in various regions of Somalia and will require an ability to work in a complex, changeable, environment where the need to manage process is paramount if tangible benefits are to be delivered.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the ILO Somalia, the main duties of the Driver/Clerk will include the following:
- Drive for the Chief Technical Adviser and other high-ranking officials.
- Keep a timetable for arrivals and departures of officials and arrange VIP rooms.
- Meet official personnel at the airport and facilitate immigration and customs formalities.
- Collect and deliver mail, pouch or documents.
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, check oil, water, battery, brakes and tires.

Amkeni WaKenya – CSDG Terms of Reference for Rapportuer
Background
UNDP Kenya and Development Partners established a Civil Society Democratic Governance (CSDG) Facility, under the
UNDP Country Programme Action Plan, known as Amkeni Wakenya.
This Facility, under the Democratic Governance Unit, has an objective to support the country in its efforts to uphold democratic governance, human rights and the rule of law through enhanced empowerment of the people and strengthening of relevant governance institutions.
Amkeni provides support to civil society organizations working on the demand side of promoting democratic governance, the protection and promotion of human rights in Kenya and especially for the poor and marginalized groups in Kenya. One of the ways it does this is by funding and building capacity of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) who meet specific qualification criteria after various Expressions of Interest/Calls for Proposals.
