Job Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for implementing controls and coordinating material sourcing functions to ensure effective & responsive procurement, quality control and accountability to support uninterrupted operations and cost effectiveness.
S/he will be expected to carry out efficient planning and coordination of procurement of strategic materials and services; strategic sourcing analysis; procurement spend monitoring and control to meet internal customers needs; supplier evaluation, selection and performance appraisal (SESPA) and post contract/project reviews.

- Liaison with user departments over matters such as specifications, quality control, contract arrangements, complaints and advising them on procurement matters i.e. outstanding order status.

- The quality of care and hygienic procedures in the maternity ward
- Ensure all medical procedures are carried out correctly
- Proper running of the maternity labour ward
- Punctuality of all staff and report to the direct supervisor incase of problems
- Adequate amount of medication and material in the ward at all times
- The MOs and Cos are informed in time in case of need
