Our client urgently seeks to recruit Merchandisers to drive their sales and help in the realizing the company vision.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyse sales information, work out sales targets and plan how to increase profits.
• Visit suppliers or manufacturers to select goods, which is likely to involve working closely with retail buyers.
• Negotiate a price, order the goods, agree a delivery date, complete all the necessary paperwork, and keep in touch with suppliers to make sure that the goods arrive on time.
• Work closely with display staff and department managers to decide how goods should be displayed to best attract customers’ attention.

Country Director – Position Announcement

CNFA, a US NGO based in Washington, DC, is seeking candidates for the position of Country Director for its Farmer-to-Farmer Program. The position is based in Dar es Salaam, but will involve frequent travel to other parts of the country. Citizens of Tanzania are preferred.

The mission of the CNFA Farmer-to-Farmer Program is to empower the rural poor to increase income through entrepreneurship, private enterprise, and accessing markets. This is done via the provision of technical assistance
from short term international consultants and a 3-person team of Tanzanian agriculture/rural development specialists.

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) was established in 1980 through an Act of Parliament (CAP 225) as a non-profit making institution to conduct school and post-school national examinations (except university) and award certificates to successful candidates. The Council also administers a number of examinations on behalf of examination bodies.

In order to mitigate the risks associated with reliance on ICT, KNEC intends to implement a Business Continuity Solution that will improve ICT Service delivery and achieve efficient management of the Council’s ICT Resources. The Council is seeking services of a reputable firm to implement the Business Continuity Solution.
