The Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) ptays a key role in the Kenyan economy by raising capital for businesses and mobilizing savings for investment.

The Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) seeks to upgrade its website, whose implementation shall be done in two phases.

The first phase of the project is expected to be in place by the 20th December 2010.

General objectives of the website design;

  • Modernize in line with global standards in terms of; overall appearance and branding; interactivity; supporting different languages; functionality and features;
  • Position NSE website as a resource centre for existing and potential investors

    Expression of Interest

    The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Kenya Youth Empowerment Project (KYEP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include providing internship and training to approximately 11,000 youth aged 15 – 29 years in the private sector over the period 2011 to 2014. The youth will be placed in internships in the following sectors: Finance, ICT, Energy, Tourism, Manufacturing and MSE; and receive training appropriate to these sectors.

    KEPSA Kenya Youth Empowerment Project Opportunities

    KEPSA seeks Youth to participate in the Kenya Youth Empowerment Project!

    The Kenya Youth Empowerment Project (KYEP) is a project financed by the Government of Kenya with a credit
    from the World Bank. KYEP is coordinated by the Office of the Prime Minister, and comprises three components:
    with Component 1 being an enhancement of the Kazi Kwa Vijana programme, and Component 3 focusing on
    capacity building within the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MOYAS). KEPSA will be implementing Component
    2 of the Kenya Youth Empowerment Project, providing internships and training for approximately 11,000 youth,
    over a period of four years, starting 2010 to 2014.
